Winter weather has finally hit New York City. We were hit with a massive blizzard over the weekend. Our 2nd biggest snow storm EVER! Luckily, but sadly I shot this look before the storm. I can only imagine how beautiful the colors of the vest and scarf would have been with the snow falling all around me…. shrugs.
I thought it was all about the waistcoat when I first pulled this look together. It wasn’t until after shooting it that I realized how the infinity scarf really impacted the ensemble.
An overcoat is a must in your closet. I opted for a smart and sophisticated look for the day. I paired a tartan waistcoat with a light blue dress shirt for contrast and blue trousers. I slipped on a pair of brown Thursday Boots and topped it all off with the red infinity scarf.
I guess it’s true what they say… it really is all about the details!
