My partner and I are both super busy, career driven women. So we have to be mindful not to let our relationship take a back seat to our jobs. With that said, we believe that the key to nourishing a healthy relationships is making time for the things we love. One of those things is to indulge in great food and wine. So, once a month, one of us surprises the other with a date to one of the many amazing restaurant on our “where to eat” list.
This month, for our monthly date, I surprised my fiancé with a brunch date to an award winning restaurant and earned points with Uber Rewards on every eligible ride along the way. We chose to go to one of the best oyster bars in the city, it has been on our list of places to eat for ages! After stuffing our faces with oysters, mussels, donuts, and summer spritzers, we topped it off with a trip to our favorite bookstore.

Have you signed up for Uber Rewards yet? As a Gold Tier member of Uber Rewards, I’m able to earn points and get benefits, depending on the Tier I’m in. On this specific day alone, I earned 35 points on the ride from our apartment to brunch, 20 points from brunch to the bookstore, and another 20 points from the bookstore back home. I ended up earning 500 points (coupled with points that I earned throughout the week), which means that I got $5 Uber Cash, which can be used on rides or food delivery. You earn $5 Uber Cash, every time that you earn 500 points.
Now that I have $5 Uber Cash, maybe our next date will be earning points with a night in… Netflix and chill sounds about right! 🤔
If you haven’t done so yet, sign up for the Uber Rewards program!
