This post was created in partnership with Starbucks.
In December 2017, my partner and I took our relationship one step further. We moved into the apartment of our dreams. A beautiful brownstone in the heart of Harlem. Together, we are creating a space that is comfortable, healthy, and aesthetically reflective of both our styles. The process has been so rewarding. BUT… it also comes with its challenges.
Initially, I thought that we’d be able to piece the house together in six months. Boy was I wrong! Decorating a new home takes a lot of planning, negotiating, compromise, time, and of course, money. Luckily, my partnership with Starbucks for the Starbucks Rewards Visa Prepaid Card has me covered!
Apart from there being no monthly, annual, or reload fees (other fees may apply), what I love most about my new Starbucks Rewards Visa Prepaid Card is that it’s prepaid. This meant that I didn’t have to worry about opening a new credit line or my credit score being effected. I get to add money to the card whenever I want to, giving me complete control of my finances. This means that my partner and I are able to enjoy all of the benefits that the card has to offer while indulging in house decor that we both love.
Our first couple of Starbucks Rewards purchases included new furniture and small supplies for our do it yourself (DIY) projects, such as wood and brackets for our DIY bookshelf, an outdoor patio set, and MY leather accent chair.
I can’t wait to share more as we make the finishing touches on our new space.
