South Street Seaport Blues

This summer has been nonstop fun. Between travel, spending time with friends and family, and the first ever New York Men’s Fashion week, I’ve barely been able to sit back, relax and just enjoy the beauty of the city I live in. The South Street Seaport has one of the best views of lower Manhattan and Brooklyn. It’s one of the most relaxing places, especially right before sunset.

It’s been pretty hot and humid over the last couple of weeks. Two weeks we hit highs in the 90s and even 100 degrees. So lately I’ve been a bit more cautious of just how dapper I want to be. I kept it pretty simple here with shades of blue, yellow, and tan. The colors naturally blend. The focal point was the tie which complimented the shoes, bag, and watch. But I think it was the shoes that stole the show. Hey, you know what they say… “give a girl a good pair of shoes and she can conquer the world!”
