Tis the season to… that’s where I always get stuck! Holiday gift giving is typically a stressful time for me because I never know what to give loved ones. I’m one of those people who over thinks everything when it come to shopping for the “perfect” gift. This year, I decided to do something completely different. My partner and I met in college 15 years ago. As a freshmen, I was an immature “heterosexual” – or so I thought – jock. She tried to gain my affection, but always fell short because I didn’t know that I was gay. It wasn’t until I transferred that I cam to terms with who I was and my feelings for her. Fast forward 10 years, two years ago, we reconnected and finally gave US a chance. I guess you could say it was meant to be! So, now that you have the back story, it should be easier to understand why this gift is so special.
