Loungewear for Masculine Presenting Folx

Someone recently asked me about some of my loungewear and it dawned on me that I’ve never really spoken about that part of my style.

I was never one of those “girlie girls” who wore cute pajamas. In fact, as an athlete, basketball shorts with a tee or sweats and maybe loose fitting pajama bottoms and a hoodie were my version of loungewear.

As I got older, I started to expand my minimal loungewear wardrobe, but not by much (I’ve added a matching pajama set into the mix).

My loungewear will forever consist of hoodies, sweats, boxers, and tees. Honestly, it doesn’t get any more comfier than that!

So, what do masculine presenting folx wear for loungewear and where can they purchase it?

Let’s start with my favorites which are pullovers and sweats:

This cozy oversized knit pullover is so comfy and warm. I gotta keep it 💯, it’s not even mine and from time to time, I steal it from my wife. 😂 So, just know if you have a partner then you might have to ask their permission to wear it!

The extra warmth you can get with a long sleeve shirt like this is one of the reasons I turn to them in the colder months. Since the temperature can fluctuate so much during the Fall season I tend to wear a henley so that I have the option to unbutton the chest buttons. Whereas in the winter months, I tend to wear a crewneck long sleeve version.

Knit Bottoms

I prefer wearing jogger style sweatpants around the house. There’s something about the cotton texture and tapered ankle that’s just my vibe but we are all different so here are some knit bottom options ranging from tapered to loose fit.

As I mentioned earlier, I’m not much of a pajama set person, but there’s always that one family member who gifts you a pajama set so I do have some. I’m not going to lie, once the temperature drops to true winter, a pajama set can be warm AF!

Pajama Sets

Pajama sets can range from jersey blends or organic cottons to flannels. The choice is yours! It all depends on what texture you like to feel against your body and how your body temperature fluctuates.

Cashmere

I’ve been looking for a sustainable high quality cashmere or cashmere blend athleisure suit for a minute! I’m trying to decide between these 2 styles from the brand NAADAM – Men’s Café Cotton Cashmere Suit (Hoodie plus Joggers) or their Men’s All Cashmere Suit (Hoodie plus Joggers).
