It’s always been hard for me to slow down and rest. I guess it’s the athlete in me; always working on trying to accomplish perfection. Now, as a creative who is consistently stimulated and inspired by life, it continues to be hard to take time to relax and recoup. In practicing better self-care, I was thankful for a peaceful long weekend with the Millennium Hilton New York One UN Plaza in celebration of Hilton Pride for New York City Pride Weekend.
The Hilton team was kind and welcoming. All of my accommodations and needs were taken care of when I got there, including a special surprise waiting inside. I couldn’t have asked for a better NYC Pride Weekend. I spent most of my stay staring out of the window, reflecting on all my blessings, and soaking up the breathtaking NYC skyline views. When I wasn’t doing that, I was Netflix, chilling, and indulging in yummy food. I think that my partner and I ordered just about everything on the menu.
Words cant’t describe how thankful I am for the gift of life. A special thank you to the Millennium Hilton Hilton New York One UN Plaza for the Long Weekender Package. It was exactly what I needed to relax, rejuvenate, and recoup. Looking forward to my next Hilton Hotels stay!
